HUNTING - FISHING
Full Service Accommodations
Home Cooked Meals
The lodge consists of two lounge areas with stone fireplaces, seven bedrooms, ample bath and shower facilities and a dining area.
We are located in the heart of one of the prime hunting and fishing areas in the province. White-Tailed Deer (many over 200 lb.) Black Bear and Upland Game Birds particularly woodcock are abundant in the surrounding area of the Lodge. The Headpond reservoir and surrounding lakes produce some of the finest Smallmouth Bass Fishing in southwestern New Brunswick.
DEER
The white-tail deer is the most highly prized and sought after
game animal in New Brunswick. As a result of mild winters and
ample food supply the deer are healthy and numbers have increased
over the past several years.
The different areas hunted from the Lodge produce many fine adult bucks which will average over 200 lbs. and some over 250 lbs. dressed weight. Antler development is excellent and trophy bucks are quite common.
We accommodate both Bow & Rifle hunters with a maximum of 3 hunters per guide.
Bow Season - Fist 3 weeks of October.
Regular Season - Four consecutive weeks beginning on fourth Monday in October.
Includes meals, accommodations, modern conveniences, transportation to and from the hunt and guide service.

is no exception.
Two bear seasons are offered annually Spring and Fall.
All hunting is done over baits and both on the ground and elevated stands. Most hunting takes place from late afternoon until dark. We usually hunt within a radius of 50 miles of the Lodge.
We accommodate Bow, Rifle & Muzzleloader hunters with a maximum of 3 hunters per guide.

Mactaquac Headpond and surrounding lakes are habitats for many
smallmouths. Our Lodge is centrally located and is therefore
easily accessible to most of the more prominent fishing spots.
A guide is not required to fish the above species. Contact us for our Smallmouth Brochure and prices.

Woodcock and grouse have been plentiful for the last two years with excellent covers a short distance from the Lodge.
