VENISON STROGANOFF 1 lb ground meat 1/2 chopped onions 1 stalk celery minces 1/2 cup chopped mushrooms 3 cloves garlic minced 3 TB minced parsley 1 TB sherry 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1 TB butter 1/2 pound sliced mushrooms 2 cups sour cream 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce Mix together meat, 1/4 cup of minced onions, celery, chopped mushrooms, 2/3 of the garlic, salt and pepper. Shape into 1- inch balls. In a large frying pan saute meatballs for 4-5 minutes. Drain the fat. Add butter, sliced mushrooms, remaining onion and remaining garlic and saute 5 minutes more. Stir in sour cream, reduce heat, and simmer until sauce is heated throughly, about 5 minutes.
