Charles and Jody Allen founded The Alaska Expedition Company in 1991 and built the Driftwood Lodge. Both Charles and Jody have a deep appreciation for the Alaskan outdoors. Charles is an instrument-rated commercial pilot with 10 years of Alaskan flying experience. Charles keeps his Cessna 206 aircraft parked at the lodge to increase the coordination and safety of his guests. The Alaska Expedition Company offers a seven-day, seven-night Silver Salmon and Steelhead Fishing adventure in the wilds of Alaska. The Driftwood Lodge is located 250 miles east of Anchorage, and 100 miles east of Cordova.
